Atlanta's in-town neighborhoods are a mix of 1920s bungalows, 1950s ranches, and heavy renovation, and each brings its own insulation problems: floored-over attics, knee walls with nothing behind them, and additions tied into an original house that was never sealed.

For renovations we work with your contractor to insulate open walls with batts, spray the tricky spots such as rim joists and cantilevers, and bring the attic up to a current R-value before the ceilings close back up. For finished attics and rooms with vaulted ceilings, spray foam on the roof deck is usually the only real option.
